A major structural feature is the evenly spaced slits on the two leather straps.
The name of this mesh model, "asolina," comes from the Italian word for "buttonhole." By making small buttonhole-like slits in the leather of the belt and intentionally creating space, a three-dimensional form not found in conventional mesh belts has been achieved.
